Christmas, New Year's and everything in between

We had a busy, and wonderful, holiday season. It started with spending Christmas eve at Grandma's trimming the tree. Donovan even helped hang his first ornament.

We had great fun celebrating our first Christmas as a family of three and Santa even visited Donovan! He not only got a stocking filled with some books, socks and a rattle but he also got a set of board books. What a nice Santa! There was also one gift for him under the tree from us, a set of soft blocks which, promptly, went into his mouth.

After spending Christmas morning at home, we headed to Grandma's house in Rockville. We opened presents (We were all very lucky this year!) and had breakfast. After that, more family arrived to celebrate with us. It was a very wonderful Christmas and Donovan did well with all the new faces and noise.

The day after Christmas, we made the trek up North stopping at Aunt Kathie's along the way. We got to spend the night in Allentown, PA and Donovan got to meet Auntie Kathie, Auntie Laura and Uncle Adam.

On Annee's birthday we made it up to NH and to Dad and Rosemary's. Donovan and Dad settled in and watched some football.

We then spent a busy week visiting friends and family, ending with the traditional New Year's Day celebration at Grandma's in Somerville, MA. Donovan did great with everything and met a lot of new family and friends. He was a terrific traveler and took everything in stride. We had a wonderful holiday visiting everyone and Donovan's first Christmas/New Year's was a  terrific one.
